Overview

The 1526 Parallelo is a unique pair of 12-, self-opening made for Beretta’s 500th anniversary. Each receiver carries waves that spread from the anniversary logo into a mirror-polished surface.1, 2

The pair takes its rounded shape from the 486 by Marc Newson, but Beretta redesigned the around a true mechanism. The design also draws on the SO10. Beretta removed the traditional hinge pins and lower plate to keep the receiver’s seamless round-body profile.1, 3

The matching Grade 5 walnut stocks have more than 80 hand-applied coats of Tru-Oil, and their weights differ by no more than one gram.4
