Beretta 92FS Ducato 500 Years Limited Edition
A run of 296 anniversary pistols with a steel frame, Abonos oak grips and gold ducat inserts
Overview
The Beretta 92FS Ducato marks the company’s 500th anniversary with a run of 296 pistols.1 The number recalls the 296 ducats paid to Bartolomeo Beretta by the Arsenal of the Republic of Venice on 3 October 1526.1 Each pistol has a steel frame and a DLC-finished barrel and slide.2 Gold inserts in its Abonos oak grips depict the two sides of a Venetian ducat.3
The Ducato is a 9×19 mm semi-automatic with a 125 mm barrel, a falling locking block and a single- and double-action trigger.2 Abonos is a fossilised oak recovered from ancient sediments of the River Sava between Slovenia and Serbia.3
